Six random things about me (that I haven’t told before – at least not that I can remember ;D )….
- I’m a Survivor nut – I’ve seen every episode and would apply to be on the show, but I really don’t like getting dirty (if I could be promised at least a weekly shower, I’d totally be in).
- I lost 60 pounds in 2004 and have kept it off (though I’d still like to lose that last 10-15 pounds more).
- I’ve read just about everything Stephen King ever wrote (and some more than once – I’ve read The Stand at least five times!).
- Except for two year my first husband and I spent in Shreveport Louisiana over 25 years ago, I’ve always lived in or around Oklahoma City and was just a block away from the Murray Building when it was bombed in 1995.
- My family still owns land that was won in the Oklahoma Land Run.
- My favorite thing to do is take a book and a blanket out to the patio, early in the morning, and just read and sip tea – I could stay there for hours!
I’m supposed to tax six chickies in turn, but instead I’m just going to invite anyone who’d like to play along to post a comment below so I can come read your randomness. I truly do love this meme, and since I couldn’t really think of any exciting random facts about me, I’d love to read some of yours!
My artwork for today is a self portrait photo diptych inspired by Kelly Rae Roberts’ recent Shutter Sisters post – it seemed like just what the universe ordered for me to cultivate some joy!!
