At the beginning of November, I made a commitment to do something artistic every day of the month and write about it here in my blog. Since the first of the month, I’ve traveled quite a journey! Here are a few highlights…
I explored fall color in paint and on camera…
I completed a Christmas Tag swap and a giveaway…
I art journaled…
I considered my vision for what I want to create in my life…
I helped (sort of) to elect a new president (I say “sort of” because Oklahoma came out red, but I still believe that every vote counts, so I’m going to say I helped, even if technically I didn’t)…

celebrated a daughter’s 25th birthday…

I also made (and recovered from the making of) a Thanksgiving meal and I almost finished my Christmas shopping and decorating!
Phew!! No wonder I’m pooped!!
Tomorrow, life returns to somewhat more of an even keel – back to work after a nice little vacation, on to the editing of my Nano book, and onward to the completion of my 100 Days of Sacred Art (I have about 40 projects to go). I’ve also made some new commitments that begin December 1 – a new Suzi Blu class, newsletters for Life Mastery Services, and the 100 Day Reality Challenge from CCOR. I wonder sometimes how I manage to commit myself to so much, consider maybe cutting back, but then realize there’s just so much I want to do! So, I just keep plugging away – it’s all good, right? It’s all part of the ongoing adventure I call life and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I hope your November was happy and eventful. I’d like to thank my friend Kate for challenging me to participate in Nanowrimo (not to mention Megan for doing it with me!) – I learned so much about myself through that process and feel like I accomplished something really important. I’d also like to thank Leah for the Art Every Day challenge – even though I didn’t complete a project every day as I’d hoped, I’m amazed at the breadth and depth of what I did complete! Leah’s challenge helped me to reinforce the overall act of living my life creatively; and what a blessing that is! Here’s wishing you peace and Blissful Creating every day of your life too!
Blessings,
Kelley

Congratulations! Don’t you feel lighter now that nano and AEDM are over? I still have energy, though, which I attribute to not forcing a huge word count on myself.
I’m looking forward to new projects and a new year.
