My WTJ was out of town for most of this week so I’m afraid I didn’t get much done. It took a little road trip with Meg and Steph to Colorado, then returned by air on its own. Such a brave little journal!!

Before they left, the girls did their best to wreak havoc by throwing paint-tinted water balloons at it…

WTJ got plenty wet, but that was nothing new, so they took it up a notch and, well, I think they sort of lost control a little (coffee grounds??)…

But, all in all, I have to admit they showed good ingenuity and an amazing lack of inhibition, so… I sent both girls home with their own fresh copies to wreck! Between us seasoned wreckers, I was a little jealous. When I finish this one, I’m almost tempted to get another one and start all over!
Hubby got into the act a little too. I didn’t get to view the event (he did it while I was off studying), but he very proudly showed me the results of squishing the WTJ in his vice (see dirt and indentation on the cover and, on the tag, you should be able to make out the impression of beads from the opposite page). Good effort Hubby, but I don’t think you’re quite ready for a journal of your own.

Happy wrecking!!

Wonderful how everyone wants in on the act with your journal! You are really sharing the love
looks like fun!
Was it a coincidence that you have a stamp with a dragonfly on?
No accident on the dragonfly stamp. I actually order them from the US Post Office. They’re 62 cent stamps, but I like to keep them around for over-sized mailings. And – of course, I just can’t resist the dragonfly.
Blessings,
Kelley
Your friends did some excellent wreckage!! You’ve got everyone in on the fun – that’s great. I know what you mean about wanting to do this all over again.
